Pattern Piece Sizes Up to 12 pieces ? Help

Width & Height: Enter the dimensions of each individual pattern piece you need to cut, not including seam allowance — the calculator adds your margins automatically.

Size + Margins column: Shows you the actual cut size of each piece after seam allowance is added to all four sides.

Total squares used: All pieces are added together to give you the total fabric area needed, which feeds into the Results section.

Leave any row blank if you have fewer than 12 pieces — only filled rows are counted.

# Width Height Qty Size + Margins Total

Margins are added to all sides of each piece (width + margin×2, height + margin×2).

Cost Optional ? Help

Currency: Choose your currency symbol — it will appear on all cost fields and results.

Full Fabric Length: How many yards (or metres) of fabric you purchased in total. Used to calculate cost per yard and cost per square inch.

Fabric Price: The total price you paid for the fabric before any discount.

Discount: Any amount subtracted from the price (coupon, sale, etc.).

Shipping, Tax, Other: Any additional costs added on top of the fabric price. All are included in the Receipt Total.
