MEASUREMENT TYPE:

WIDTH OF FABRIC:
This is the width of a single type of fabric, measuring from selvedge to selvedge. You can exclude the actual selvedge from your measurements if you don't use it. Recalculate for each type of fabric.
MARGINS:
FOR ONE SIDE - this section is to account for the extra fabric around a pattern piece you add for fussy cutting or when adding interfacing.
PATTERN PIECE SIZES:
Add each pattern piece called for in the pattern.If there is a piece that is not rectangular, use the approximate size of a rectangle that will encompass the piece.
