The Lani Girl Story
When deciding on the materials, I went with the canvas backed cork cutout in the palm pattern. It feels like a modern interpretation of the Hawaiian kapa cloth, also known as tapa. It also reminds me of a lanai (porch) which is typically painted white to frame a lush Hawaiian backdrop.
The cream toned leatherette with it's soft, butter like hand is meant to finish the bag with a bit of luxury. Gold accents are a touch of fancy too.
It gets it's name comes from my childhood dog who was the goodest girl.
